What is this ?

Help !!
I think...
background

So my 12gallon 6 month old nano planted tank was doing great

this is my first fully planted tank, CRS and endlers livebearers.

RO water mineralised with shrimp king gh+kh and bee shrimp minerals gh+ to get 4gh 2kh ph is 7

I added some fertilizer *easygreen a small co2 system the new fluval nano 15watt led.
Attached is a video and picture of what is starting to grow on all my plants.
its almost like a root system of some sort so I am thinking fungal.
It started on the valesnaria. now its starting to grow on the leaves of the crip.
can anyone help me solve this ?

currently the mint charlie, java fern/moss are not showing symptoms.

This looks like Staghorn algae to me. I've never had such algae but I've read some articles. Around 20% water change every couple of days, less light, less food and no ferts. SAE fish helps as well.

What I am reading is that exel and co2 should kill this. and I am using both of those...
lack of flow possibly ?
I have an airstone and fluval hang on back.

Okay. I am killing it by increasing the levels of co2. it is turning brown and dying.
I suspect I am adding too many ferts to this 12 gallon. I will cut it back and I suspect the issue will resolve itself.

thank you forum

Don't bother cutting back ferts, it will starve plants meaning they can't outcompete algae.
