Thank redecoration

I have a 14 liter shrimp tank and i'm not satisfied with the look of it so i want to redecorate it. I want to change the position of rocks, plants, driftwood and dirt but i dont know what to do with the shrimp during that time so it anybody has some tips i'd like to hear them. Thanks

What's your concern? They should just shoot over to the other side of the tank while you do your thing. Why move them? It's traumatizing and you could miss babies or juveniles. I'd never fully drain an established tank for a rescape unless I was moving the tank anyway. They'll hide everywhere, it's hard to get an accurate head count. Sometimes at night I see shrimp I never knew were in there. Maybe hitchhikers on plants etc. Just roll up your sleeves and go for it they'll be fine

My problem is the gravel i want to add more without burrying the shrimp and my gravel is more like like dirt and makes the water cloudy and brown when moved

Go to you tube and search "add sand to aquarium with a bottle" there's several videos showing how it works some better than others. Having done this myself I see no reason it wouldn't work for small gravel as well.

... or a length of pvc pipe works. Keeps it from clouding up.
