Hi guys! I am suuuper new to the hobby. I have a 6 g fluval edge which I bought already established with amazon swords and anubias and some tetras and guppies. The leaves are getting brown pin holes in them which slowly enlarge, eating away the entire leaf. I played around a lot with them since I got the tank about a month ago, because it was disgusting. Now I am happy with the look but I want my plants to be lush and green. The amazon sword is growing and the new leaves do not have the pin holes in them. yet. I read around that it could be caused by a pottasium deficiency?
6g Fluval Edge
Light: 8 h - 4 on 4 off, original light 6500k
Medium to low flow
Large bioload- 3 neon tetras + 3 guppies
I would really appreciate any tips! Thanks, ELa

Are you dosing any kind of fertilizers?

It looks like you have dirt underneath the large gravel/pebbles. Is that accurate?

I haven't added any type of ferts since I got it and I doubt the guy who I brought it from did. Yes it is dirt . I think it is that fancy substrate that come with the fluval which is good for plants. It was floating all over my tank and it was frustrating that is why I put the rocks in.

Going to have to start dosing ferts. Pin holes that grow larger could be a K(potassium) deficiency. I'd start dosing an easy all-in-one like Thrive from nilocG. Check out his website, nilocg.com.
