Started CO2 now have algae

Hey guys. I can’t seem to figure this planted tank at all. I have a 3.4 that’s been running for a few months now. I have a micmol mini planted tank on it that’s on a 24/7 setting with most of the intensity turned to like 50% or less. I’ve been doing weekly water changes and dosing macro and micro ferts as well as excel. I had a bit of a hair algae issue before, but once I added Amanos that’s went away. Recently my co2 regulator came in and I set it up at like a bubble every 3 seconds. Now I have more hair algae than before. I obviously have no clue what I’m doing... someone please help

Amanos help to keep hair algae under control but they did not fix the underlining problem. Without having details on your tank, my best guess is that your phosphate levels are above 2 ppm. If that is the case, I would address it first.

Algae loves co2 as much as plants do. In other words, when you have both plants and algae, co2 benefits both.
