Nano tank Background plant

Hi Guys,

Would like to get some comment from your all on my setup.
Currently I had planted some crypts wendtii on behind as my background plant but it was melted as you can see in the picture.

I would like to know if I do not want to wait for it to grow new leaf.
What other plant could be more suitable as a background plant?

Also on my current scape, do you think is viable of planting any plants on the right side of the tank?

This is a non-co2 30cm tank.

Thanks

Back right corner looks good for another wendtii crypt. Or a an Amazon Sword Compact, or a dwarf Lilly, or a Hygrophila Simanensis Kompact or Hygrophila angustifolia.

For the right midground, I would try Blyxa Japonica.

Thanks for the suggestion.
Does a val. will be abit overkill for such a small tank?

If you want grass like plant for the left background I would suggest Cryptocoryne crispatula var. tonkinensis

Looks nice, like the placement. What about rotunda for the back ground?

I don't mean rotunda I mean rotala rotundifolia or ludwigia red.
