Order of Tank Setup?

So my Flex 57L is coming today, and I'd like to get cycling ASAP. I am planning on adding CO2, lots of plants, probably adding more light, and using the ADA Amazonia Powder Type.

Should I just do the substrate and hardscape before adding the plants? I know that soil puts out ammonia to help start the cycling, but will it kill off my plants and have an algae bloom?

Just curious how everyone else went about things. Thanks.

I did miss one minor step ... I fill the tank about 80% after the hardscape is sort of done. Then plant.

plant immediately, or wait until the ammonia dies down a little?

I cycle plants with plants. I've even had cycles kick out 2ppm Ammonia without additives in 2 weeks.

I should add that I plant with about 30% full of water, if it's all real short even less... I just add enough water to keep the plants from weighing themselves down.
