What's going on here?

Noticed this darker coloration on my anubias tonight. Is this melting?
The tank is a spec2 heavily planted with mostly anubias and some Buce. It's home to 2 guppies and a small snail. It's been running for about a year and a half.
To be honest I'm neglectful with this tank. It's at my bedside so I see it often... obviously. Other than topping off I rarely do a water change. The last time was about a month ago and the time before that was better than six months. And I feed very sparingly. I use thrive but only about 2 drops very 10 days or so.

I've never had any issues to speak of.

Here's an over all of the tank. I'm not seeing it anywhere else.

Green Spot Algae (GSA).
I cure it by pulling the anubias and painting Excel onto it with a small super cheap paintbrush, letting it sit for a few minutes and placing back in the tank. You can do it during a water change depending where it's at also or spot treatment with a medicine dropper under water (never treated this way myself). It'll clear off in a few days.

Caused by too much light on the anubias. Maybe place it somewhere slightly shaded or dim the lights a bit should stop it from returning.
