Fluval Spec and Flex Nano-scape advice

So I'm planning on doing my first nano scape. I ordered bag of ada Amazonia, and a bunch of dwarf hair grass. I have a co2 setup and ton of ferts. What I am wondering is the 7K led light on the spec enough to grow a thick carpet of dwarf hair grass? The only other plant is going to be a cryptocoryne mioya.

And what about a fluval flex 9 gallon? My guess is that the stock lighting will not be enough on that, it didn't seem to have many leds when I checked it out at my lfs, though I didn't get to see it turned on.

If neither tank has an adequate light I could put my 30" planted plus 24/7 over the top until I am able to get one the correct size.

As far as ferts go I am thinking about doing an EI dosing schedule. Considering the small size of the tank Ian fibs method worth it? Or Ian there a better option?

My plan is to pick up the tank, the hardscape, and a heater from my lfs, and as long as everything's else arrives before Friday I plan on doing the scape this weekend.
