Nano Fish/RCS in 20H, low-tech

Looking for recommendations and sources for plants and fish.

I have a 20H open top, I just re-did and bought all new equipment
Finnex 24/7+
Substrate is Flourite, Sand, small gravel and has some peat under it, established 10 years
SunSun302, (floss, ceramic tubes and glass pearls)
Hydor 200w inline

Currently has some old plants that I had growing and I am soon replacing the big driftwood with Manzanita I ordered
Java Fern, sad looking amazon swords and a Anubis that is doing well.

I want it to looks like a zoomed-out river/creek with the manzanita going in one direction with java moss

Also would like recommendation for short foreground plant/carpet(s) and source (no CO2 but I am using liq fert and root tabs)
Source for RCS in a few months

Was thinking Dario Dario and maybe dwarf pencilfish with the RCS and ottos

Thanks in advance!
