UN 2.9 Gallon

Have a relatively new iwagumi setup testing Magic Seeds from amazon. It only took 5 days to grow and tank has been cycled for about two weeks before adding fish and shrimps.

Magic Seeds
Dwarf Hair Grass

Oto catfish
several Red Fire Shrimps
2 Galaxy Rasboras

ADA Powersand
ADA Aquasoil
9mm Lily Pipes
13W Fluval lamp
small atomizer 1 check valve between atomizer and bubble counter

Liquid Ferts from GLA
5 drops of macros per day
1 drop of micros per day

GLA Mini-SS Paintball Regulator with bubble counter
A bubble every 4 seconds

Lights are on 8 hours a day
CO2 on 30 mins before lights come on and off 1 hour before lights turn off

Everything is set on automation using a WiFi Smart Surge protector power strip from Amazon. I have both the CO2 and light on a timer that is set using the app. Really enjoying the Power Strip so far.

They can be found on Amazaon:

Definitely false advertisement. Being sold as glosso or HC seeds but from what I've read it is a completely separate plant. It carpets really quick but I think the leaves or stem will eventually grow long.

Some Updates

Carpet seems to he thriving and starting to see undergrowth. Itching to switch to glosso but this is still looking good.

I was thinking man, I think the aquarium hobby is missing a wifi surge protector instead of using timers. typed it in google and bam, there it is. How do you like it? thinking about getting one and checking blackfriday/cyber monday for deals

Yrral - It is pretty awesome. Haven't had an issue with it. Does exactly what I need it to do with my Co2 and lights.

Great looking tank. I picked up some magic seeds from Ebay for like a dollar a while ago. Still haven't pulled the trigger on assembling my tank yet...so, they are still sitting in their little container. I have been interested to see ow long they last for, as $1 is too good to be true! lol. I purchased smart plugs last year for my still-assembled tank, which I have since dispersed throughout the house. I like the idea of the smart surge protector and actually added one to my list a couple of days ago, prior to seeing this post. I love that the plugs can be programmed separately and look forward to doing so....
