Need Help with Planted 5 gal Portrait Tank, Plants Suffering
Greetings, this is my first post but I am hoping this forum might be a good source of assistance.
I have a 5-gallon portrait tank that's been planted for about a year now. I have changed background plants a few times but my latest purchase of wisteria seems to be suffering, as well my longstanding Staurogyne repens in the foreground. I am not sure what the cause may be.
The residents of the tank include two mystery snails, one African Dwarf Frog and a Halfmoon Betta. I use Aqua Soil Amazonia (2 inches deep) for my substrate and until now everything seemed to flourish. I would say that my lighting has been very good for the installed LEDs running about 10 hours a day. However, I do know I have been guilty of overfeeding due to concern that my frog might not get enough food.
Is there anything I can do to fix them?
