Hairgrass is Rooting!!!
have a fluval spec v ada aquasoil and stock lighting right now. At the moment I've had the tank drained to just above the hairgrass level, so the lights will be brighter. I haven't really been dosing too much ferts right now, I've been hoping the aquasoil would be sufficient with some flourish.
I'd like to start breeding RCS/snails as well in preparation for a dwarf puffer. Now that my dwarf hairgrass is finally rooted will filling the tank significantly slow the growth of the grass? I'd like the get the tank filled up to get the filter up and running and tank established, not to mention it will probably take a few months for the shrimp to breed enough to distract a dp from decimating the population.
