3g High tech attempt

Hi all, I have a 3g that I'd like to make high tech as an experiment. I've run it low tech, then mid tech with excel dosing, now I'd like to get some pressurized Co2 going.

How should I go about doing this? I've never run a high tech tank before and I'm getting confused as to what my bubble count should be in such a small amount of water. I currently have no fish in my tank so I'm not worried about gassing them, though I want to have a few endlers/shrimp or a betta in there in the future.

Has anyone ever tried a high tech in such a small tank? I do daily water changes to keep my parameters consistent and I clean out debris daily.

If there is no way to get around the co2 being too high in such a small body of water for fish, I'm ok with that. I'm moving soon and am thinking of converting the 3g to strictly a grow tank so I can fill a larger tank when I get one. Let me know your thoughts!

3g?? Can't you get a 5g. I've done a 5g and it is hard in terms of space management. Flow is also an issue if you decide to go full dutch. I would recommend getting a PH meter then using that to set a target PH/CO2 from the PH/KH/CO2 chart. I remember running around 2.5 BPS for my old 5g but it had a ton of plants. It had finnex Ray 2 DS which was a lot of light for a 5g so my CO2 injection was high. After running it for 6 month, I realized the effort was probably the same for running a 10g tank.

SKYE.__.HIGH and SKYE.__.HIGH like this.

I may just end up waiting to do a high tech 10-15 gal if it will be that much hassle. Moving soon anyways so it's the perfect time to commit to a bigger tank

A 3G is about the size of the ADA Mini S. Most people who run those, run them hi-tech. Do a google image search on ADA Mini S
