Spec III Shelf

Up and coming project as I get things in order. Went out and got a great price on 4 Fluval Spec III's to fill the shelf in. Got some ideas now to get my big tank broken down to fund the rest of the build.

Scaping materials start showing up today through next week then the plants can start coming in. Wires all organized and the lights on a timer. Keeping it portable for now with the CO2 and the bell diffuser tucks perfectly into the pump chamber.

Nice project... lots of potential! I like your organization of the wiring (backside of cabinet). Looking forward to seeing this project transform into a full flight reality.

Thanks, go the hardscape into the first tank today. Maybe I'll grab some pictures once lights come on.

The wood for tank two is soaking. Some taller mountain stone will be coming early next week for the left tank. Quick peak at the progress. Need to finish setting up the filter baskets and start filling the tanks as the get completed. Plants come alter this week to start planting.

Prepping for pressurized CO2 as the small canisters just aren't cutting it. They need too much work to get them where I wanted. Also cleaned up the wiring to keep things clean.

Awesome project...I just picked up a Fluval Spec III myself. Are you running the stock filtration and pumps in these units?

Any updates? My question is, are those lights going to cut it? If they do your gonna have the slowest growth ever and very pale color. I don't mean to be a downer, if I were you I would keep 1 or 2 as a lower tech setup and put two of the stock Fluval lights and then upgrade the two other tanks for something like a finnex or chihiros lighting. But in the end it's all your decision.
