Leftover Stuff Nano Tank

Extra tanks and ADA soil sitting around are a dangerous combination. I decided to put together an iwugami for the wife’s desk (after she said it was OK).

We’ll dry start this puppy with some Monte Carlo, and I will leave I alone for as long as I can tolerate it. Which will hopefully be at least three weeks, sigh.

Specs—

Greenleaf Aquariums 36-L 14” x 9” x 11”. 6 Gallons.
Chihiros A-Style ADA ripoff LED (21 Watts)
50 Watt Cobalt Neotherm heater
Dragonstone
Co2 Art Regulator with 5lbs tank
ADA Amazonia
Eheim 2213

Stocking plans will probably be a betta. I will post updates on the progress.

Looks good! I know that danger when you have leftover stuff and a spare tank. BTW maybe go for something that doesn't require a heater, like shrimp, the heater takes up quite a lot of real estate.

Nothing like the satisfaction of a new tank. Tell her the aquarium comes with a new pair of shoes and take her out shopping. You will be amazed how easy your next tank will be accepted Thinking ahead never hurts lol.

I know, its painful to look at this thing with the heater in it everyday. Ill think if something.

The shoe thing would definitely work with my wife. Ill have to make a point of stopping there before the fish store.

The Monte Carlo melted into nothing after about a week. I was disappointed at that. When I received it in the mail it looked perfect. Oh well.
I had some Glosso around and it seems to be doing much better than the Mote Carlo.
Here it is after a week and a half.
