Hello everyone.

Did a rescape on my fluval edge. Let me know what you think.

scape looks good - but.....a 6g Fluval Edge is way too small for rummynose and cardinals. Yikes

Thanks for replies.

My carpet plant is Dwarf Baby Tears. Believe or not, but I started out with once small bush about 2" diameter and divided up into 5 small clumps. Tied each clump to a rock and pushed the rock into the substrate. That was on October 28, about 5 weeks ago. Now each of the 5 are bigger than the one I started with. At this rate, I'm hoping to have a complete carpet soon.

In regards the Rummy nose and tetra, I've had 10 Rummy nose and 1 Cardinal Tetra since Boxing day 2014. Haven't lost a single one. This boxing day will be 2 years. As well, as you probably noticed, they are very active and seem extremely healthy and happy. I wouldn't add more, but in all honesty the amount I have seem to be really thriving.

Here is a pic from my Tank on October 26, 2016 and then another pic after the rescape. The 2nd pic is from Dec 1, 2016. You'll notice how much the HC has really grown and spread in a matter of 5 weeks.

As well, incase anyones wondering about the lighting...I changed the stock 6 gallon 21 LED Fluval edge light with the 42 LED light that comes with the larger fluval edge. Then I added a 9 watt made in china light. Pics below of that one.

That light cost me $24.99 CND....and it's been doing great.
