Nate McNasty's 1 gallon aqueon

so it's been about a year from being on the forums. I have been focusing on saltwater reefs but I'm starting to get an itch planted tanks again. here is a 1 gallon betta tank i set up about 3 weeks ago. i replaced the 7w indesint light with a 7w CFL. It is a pretty low tech tank so i don't think i will be replacing the substrate. there are 3 snails, one ghost shrimp, and a betta living in the tank. the plants i have are x-mas moss, fame moss, and anubis coffeola

thanks for looking and it's good to be back

Too small for any fish or invert IMO, looks great though.

Nice tank but too small to really keep even a betta in.

tthanks for all the nice comments
it's not my fish. the betta was living in an old vodka bottle. it was hard for me to convince the owner to to spend 5 dollars on the fish. i think it's better off now than what it was.

cl: i just finished my first year of college as a bio major. it went really well considering i haven't been in school for almost 3 years. I got a paid internship coming up next week teaching K-7th graders about nature at a nature center

zoragen:it has a power filter so i change about a cup every week

i also dose this tank with a comprehensive supplements, trace, excel and npk.
