5 gal cube revival

Hey guys, so I can't find my original post about my current solo cube so I am just starting a new one.
As I said, it's the current USA 5 gal solo cube. I took the filter out and got one with way less flow. I think it's a tetra whisper filter but I'm not sure. It's very loud and I have this tank in my room so if anyone has a small submerged filter recommendation, I'm all ears.
All the plants I used to have in here ended up in my 29 except the marble sword that was neglected for awhile. She's looking better after a trim and TLC. I added some dragon stone and cuttings from my 29. Here's a crazy FTS after I was done planting and everything was all stirred up

So from the back I have:
bacopa
Queen marble sword
Some green Cambodia
AR cardinalis
Crypt "hobbit"

I found the crypt at my LFS and it was too cute to pass up so I just threw it in there.
I also have some blackfin neon rasboras in there, if they end up getting bigger than I want them to then they can just go in my 29. The coloring on them in pretty interesting though, they have a real sheen to them when they hit the light.
I eventually want to get some RCS in there but I'm gonna wait awhile on that.
Any input is welcome!

Already some new growth on my sword!

The water is getting clearer and clearer everyday, I still need to clean up a bit on the substrate, but things are heading in the right direction!

Correction on the fish: they are blackfin neon rasboras, they should stay pretty small so I may get a couple more.

Where does everyone get their shrimp from? LFS or online?

I buy RCS online, got mine from aquaticarts, I think they are much higher quality then I found locally.
I buy Amano from petco, they are way cheaper then anywhere else around I think around $2.00 a/piece. labeled as Japanese algae eating shrimp.

Hey with regards to a quiet filter, I have this one: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 in a 5 gallon tank in my bedroom. My boyfriend was complaining about the noisy air filter keeping him awake but since getting this - no more whining The flow is strong, but the output part is turnable so if you point it at a wall it is really fine (I have a fish in there who likes low flow and he swims everywhere with ease). It is also small, and doesn't look hideous in the tank.

I was house sitting yesterday and they have a beta. I seriously sat and played with him for about 45 minutes. Made me really miss having a beta. I went to my LFS today and they had 3 blackfins left, so I got them and put all 7 in my 29 gallon. I'm officially on the hunt for a beta!
