Planted Fluval Nano Tank Breeders!

Hi everyone. I'm new to this forum and would love some advice. We have a 10 litre Fluval Spec nano tank with 2 Platy fish. They bred (unbeknownst to me) and a fry was retained during cleaning the tank. He survived and has now moved from the filter section into the main tank. We have quite a few plants in there and a driftwood tree so he hides in there at times. I need to know if you think I should swap an adult fish for another of the same gender? I know the tank is small and don't want to overfill it, or have any more fry trying to survive in it! Any advice would be appreciated. I'll post a pic.
