My 4th Nano Tank

Yeap.......this hobby is addicting.

Just set up my 4th nano tank over the weekend. Found this tank at local Goodwill store for $7. It does come with an LED light but too wimpy to use it.
Found the filter for a $1 and built the light from scratch from parts at local Habitat store.
Fluorescent Bulbs from Home Depot - Phillips Daylight Deluxe - 23 watts = 100 watts. I use 3 of those.

Looks great! Are those normal tree branches? Not roots, right?

Is there a problem with using roots?

Ain't nothin' better than a dwarf puffer to greet you at the door!

It's opposite - roots are normally used, branches can rot quicker

Lighting.................

Got 3 of those track lighting from Habitat store. Gut it out and use the housing to create this custom design lol.
Use 3 - 23 watts bulbs = 300 watts total - Daylight Deluxe.

I feel like I'm witnessing a mad scientist rage "MORE POWER, MORE POWER! HAHAHAHA"

Three times the light for three times the fun?

I like it! I have a 2 gallon cookie jar that has been calling my name for a nano tank. Not sure what I'm going to do for lighting though. I'm thinking about using a desk lamp with a LED. The IKEA LED bulbs do a awesome job growing cactus, so maybe they would work with aquatic plants as well. I'd have to try it to find out. If not, I have other bulbs kicking around that I can try.
