Saltwater Mini-M?

Im considering turning my other mini m into a marine setup. Does anyone have any experience with this? Do they make 50/50 actinic bulbs that will fit the solar mini? I was thinking of going with a custom sump under the ada stand and using the ada inflow/outflow lily pipes.

If you're doing a marine planted tank, macro algaes don't require actinic light, they take basically the same spectrum as freshwater plants.
If you want to do a reef then weellll, you're on the wrong forum.

There should be no issue using the lily pipe for outflows, but sumps require special overflow designs that I'm not sure you could replicate with an intake pipe.

The thread you linked to is about a 3/4" overflow pipe?

If you're talking about CL though, IIRC he tore down the SW tank soon after setting it up and turned it into a FW shrimp tank.

If you're doing a nano reef and want to use your lily pipes, you could just hook them up to an external pump and use them as a great looking powerhead.
Otherwise, in something that small, most people don't run a sump and just use natural filtration.
