Removing Coralline Algae fro Biocube?

I just scored a 4-year old 29-Gallon Biocube and stand on craigslist for $100. It was previously used as a saltwater marine aquarium. How can I remove the corraline algae from the plastic back wall, the pump, and the filter reservoir without damaging the aquarium or the components?

Thanks,
Kelly

use vinegar mixed with water and fill the tank. 50/50 should work. after like a few days you can easily clean off the coraline. then thoroughly rinse the tank with fresh water.

The vinegar won't discolor the black plastic will it?
