Nano owners--How much excel do you dose daily?

Trying to get a feel of how much Excel on average, nano tank owners use.

So please post tank size, dosage and lighting. And co2 if any.

I'll start

5.5g
2ml daily
32 watts cfl 6500k

Of course this thread would not be for the guys blessed with pressureized co2 systems. But aimed more towards the nano owners with out co2 or diyco2. But if you use pressurized co2 and excel feel free topost away.

Thanks very much for the info

Daily dose of 2 mL in a 5.5g sounds awfully excessive.

I dose 0.5 mL in my 6g every second day.

i haven't dosed excel in a while but if i remember correctly it's 1ml treats 10g so what i did is went to cvs or any pharmacy and asked them for child medicine dosing syringe they gave me a 5ml graduated and a 1ml graduated syringe and on my 2.5g i dosed 2.5 10ths of a ml. the syringes make dosing all sorts of thing easy. good luck!

I don't regularly dose Excel, but when I do I follow the 1ml per 10 gallon ratio. So in my 4 gallon (3 gallon water column) I would dose a little under .5ml per day.

Thanks alot for the info.. and keep it coming

For me it seems that 2ml's daily keeps algae at bay and the plants are growing very well. And everyone was telling me I was ODing my tank.

So I did alot of searching and found that most of the higher tech tanks used anywhere from 1-4ml's daily. But I was not sure if the info I was finding was current.

thanks again
