Whether you decide to put the Buddha ornament into the tank or not is your own decision, is it not? Whether it appears tacky or not to other people should not affect your decision. If you like how it looks, go for it!

i like what dark said, its what you like that matters, but your here for opinions. So heres mine.. In a bowl that small you wanna maximize your water space. Put a thought into maybe just adding an additional plant maybe a lowlight mid centerpiece plant, or maybe a few interesting driftwood twigs coming out the ground, If you still like the idea of a buddha theme I saw a 10g tank once (with a buddha in it) that had bamboo growing out the top. it was pretty cool.

Hope i could be some help

PEACE

The plants that you have should do fine under your current lighting.

I would get a stone buddha if you can that isn't polished, it'll look less tacky. I think Church and someone else have done tanks with big Buddhas in their tanks and they can look good.

Do what you want!
