How much ferts should i use

So I have been using liquid ferts for the first 2 weeks in this 8 gallon but was thinking about switching to Osmocote plus in gel capsules. I would be using size 0 capsules, that is around 500 mg per capsule. How much should I use in a tank of this size and do some plants need more than others?

Hygrophila 'Siamensis 53B'
Alternanthera reineckii 'Mini'
Lilaeopsis brasiliensis
Cryptcoryne wendtii 'Tropica'
and some Christmas moss that i will add in later.

I have no idea on the your fert question as I am still learning too, however I must say that's a very cool looking tank! I like the organization and color!
