Exclamation weird white hole/spot on the side of my corydora! please help

so 3 weeks ago i noticed weird white spots on my corydora that were not fungal or anything. some suggested it was mucus, others said burns. regardless i treated with salt and 20% daily water changes for 2 weeks now. earlier this week it seemed like the white spot was coming off, kinda flaking off slowly. now in one of the spots there is a literal hole in his side (view the pics). i've had him since July. he is eating and never really was rubbing on the side of the tank or rocks like he had a parasite but i did notice him swimming kinda weirdly sometimes (but this was my first time with corydoras and i may have just imagined it a bit). he would kinda favor the other side that the white stuff was not on if that makes sense.

none of the other fish are affected.

the tank is cycled, 0 ammonia 0 nitrite 0 nitrate (which is weird but it's a pretty heavily planted tank and i was doing daily water changes) and at 76F (heater is not strong enough, getting a stronger one in the mail Wednesday).

i don't know if my images uploaded properly but i have posted on another forum so i can link someone to that if they like and if it didn't work on here. new to this site so bear with me as i learn to use it lol

any help is appreciated, thank you in advance!

I rarely see this in my cories, but in my opinion it was originally a wound and is in the process of healing. If you are new to cories, you might be surprised at how active they can be. I noticed you have some lava rocks in there, it's possible that in all their daily hustle and bustle it may have crashed into a sharp edge on that lava rock. I used to keep a couple of pieces like that myself, but no longer do.

I don't have any direct evidence of lava rock-induced damage, but I haven't seen any other wounds like that after taking it out.

If it doesn't look to be getting any worse, I'd say keep doing what you're doing. Keep the water clean and keep an eye on it.
