Looking for reputable online dealers for fish

I wanted to order some fish online and was hoping to get some feedback from others who have ordered online. I would like to get some Harlequin Rasboras and Glowlight Danio (Danio Choprae) or now reclassified as Celestichthys Choprae in particular.

Any information on reputable online dealers would be appreciated.

I have not checked, but, I like LiveAquaria, and AquaHuna, I have used them in the past and they have been very reliable and communication is quick and easy.

I just bought 6 rainbows and 3 panda garras from Dan's Fish (https://getgills.com/store.detail/Dans_Fish). Very happy with quality of products and service. I have also bought fish in the past from the Wet Spot (https://www.wetspottropicalfish.com) and from Bioaquatix (https://www.bioaquatix.com) with similar experiences.

55g low-tech tank with rainbowfish, empire gudgeon, panda garras and cories.

aquatic arts has been awesome, good packing, watch for sales, sign up for newsletter for discounts. Always healthy and often extra fish sent.

Mail Order

I have purchased from Dansfish.com, First Coast Tropical fish in Middleburg, Fl and Aquatic Arts. Fish from all have been great.

I just received an order from The Wet Spot. Fish look good so far - still acclimating. Process was super easy for ordering and they update their available fish list every Friday.

Check reviews as there are some to avoid like the plague. Also if you're ordering online and cant inspect the stock, order more than you want and expect to have some losses.

In two orders from two different sellers, all of the skinny fish died very soon after acclimation in quarantine. Both times it ended up being half of the order (which I why I ordered a second time). Maybe just bad luck or maybe a delicate fish when raised in poor conditions. Either way, the 20 i have in my tank are doing great and fun to watch.

Dan's Fish is my #1 first source to check. I've also purchased from aquariumfish.net, petzonesd.com, steenfottaquatics.com, and aquahuna.com without issue - although Aqua Huna was purely an invertebrate order, they arrived perfectly.

But Dan (dansfish.com) is exceptional...he does a very thorough quarantine and prophylactically treats his fish with full rounds of meds, not just a sprinkle, and won't sell anything that isn't in A+ condition. Plus his customer service and engagement is top notch, only rival I can think of on that front is Steenfott. Dan is always who I check first.
