I got 6 cories. They were billed as Julii at the LFS.

I know it is quite uncommon to get actual Juliis.
I do not care either way what they are, I think they are adorable regardless.

They are still quite small right now compared to full grown cories. They all are probably under an inch in length.

Just curious.

Attaching a few pix on them and looking for an expert eye 🙂

Lmk if more angles are needed to determine.

Thank you!

I would say definitely C. trilineatus. C. julii the black markings would be small dots rather than large squiggles. It can be pretty confusing because a regular Google image search will turn up mismarked photos of both. Helps to go to a specific catfish site with images like PlanetCatfish.com for comparison photos.

Oh yea. Images on that site are WAY more spotty than mine look. But I still do not see lines connecting on the faces of mine.

Maybe it just takes a bit more time to tell.

As I said, it doesn’t matter to me what they are. These fish are the funnest little piggies. They seem to be doing well (knock on wood) - I just wanted a bit of expert eye to tell me what they are
