Good stocking list for 20g long?

I'm planning out a new 20g long planted community tank and wanted to get some feedback on the following tank mates:

1 honey gourami as centerpiece
7-8 neon tetras
2-3 Otto's
4 Amano shrimp
1-2 nerite snails

Thoughts? Too much? Too little? Thanks in advance!

You have a lot of flexibility with a 20-long. These look like good choices. I should think you could bump the neons to 11 with no trouble. Just be aware they can be delicate their first few weeks in our tank, so you may have to replace some until you get a healthy group. I'd also wait to add the otos until the tank is established for a few months and there is plenty of biofilm for them to munch on. don't forget that your scavengers (otos, nerites, and amanos) will appreciate having some dedicated food of their own, too, such as Repashy's "community plus."

2x20-longs, one heavily planted. Platy rancher. They. Won't. Stop. Breeding.

I think there's room for a bit more. Consider some smaller cories for the bottom. One of my favorites is the dwarf cory habrosus, maybe 6-7.

I hope there's room for some more critters, as I've got similar dimension and plan on adding roughly same stocking plus about 10 pygmy cory's. Here's a link to the post where I discuss my planned stocking (tank not up and running yet):
