Feeding larger fish worms.

I bought from Walmart a few months ago a container of 30 redworms, they had night crawlers but they were hudge. They were evan on sale.
The Blue Acaras ate them up like crazy.

But the question is can I possibly introducing something nasty, a paracite or whatever into the tank dooing this?

A long long time ago, I used to pickup what I remember were live blood worms.
Something was in there that grew quite large about three inches long, maybe half the thickness of a pencil.
I had trouble cathing that thing, it would dig into the gravel and disappear.
And I am pretty sure that it had to have come from the live blood worms.

Just a little concerned about introducing something into the tank.
