Questions regarding betta feeding...

Well recently I purchased a red crowntail betta, and my cousin told me today that I should feed him guppy fry.
Is it really safe for a betta to be fed with a guppy fry ? If yes, then how often ?
Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Well they will eat everything they can fit in there mouths usually. Im sure as long as they dont have parasites that he would love eating fry of any kind really. In the wild they eat whatever small critter they can find and devour (little insects/shrimp/fish).

Just make sure he will accept other foods incase of you run out of fry.
