I have read and in my own experience they will go into breeding mode when storm fronts move through , something about the change in barometric pressure , but it worked everytime it stormed for me.....lol

Thanks for all the replies! On a completely different tangent, my pandas came with something form Petco, not surprisingly. At first I thought it was ich, so I got microbe-lift herbtana, this was about 3 weeks ago. Then I finally saw what was causing the spots. The BN pleco tries to dig on the edges and literally sand blasts fish with the sand!!! I felt like an idiot because then I noticed what seemed like a fungus on one or two (noticed it within a week, but it went away with the herbtana treatment). So I'm in the middle of the microbe-lift artemiss treatment, and doing salt baths. I decided to try a hydrogen peroxide cotton swab. And wow! I thought I nearly killed one of two because it struggled and got the swab straight on its head! Two days later and its actually active and acting like a Cory! Should I keep doing salt baths, or take the behavior change as time to stop?

I did some salt (maybe teaspoon or less for 1gal tank) and the artnemesis for my betta that got fin rot/fungus stuff. It cleared up in less then a week and never came back. Still have the betta.

Not sure if this relates to cory cats or not lol.

Oh and what is the BN place thing you were talking about?

Edited, pleco. I use 2 cups of aquarium water and 1 teaspoon of salt for a 20 minute bath.
