Is Kanaplex safe for Otocinclus

I have one Oto that slowly lost most of it's tail. Is Kanaplex or Kanaplex/Metroplex safe for this fish? The other Otos are fine and the sick one is in QT to be treated alone. Please advise the best approach. It's in an established QT tank with a recent WC.

Yes, but remember that Kanaplex is only 31.7% pure and you need 50 mg/L or about 6 g per 10 gal.

Thank you for identifying how pure kanaplex was. I had been unable to locate that anywhere.

180 g. low tech w/ wild South American cichlids, corydoras eques, and African Congo riverine tetras.
60 g. low tech w/ F1 Alenquer pair /Stendker "Tefe" discus and wild Altum Angels
30 g. low tech w/ Wild Tucano tetras
30 g. low-tech African Biotope

I forgot to mention that if you're using metronidazole for the tail, it's only effective on anaerobic bacteria and infections by anaerobic bacteria are uncommon in fish.
