best worm medication for whole tank treatment?

I have kens deworming flakes 1 and 2. not sure which to use and I'm wondering what a good medication is to dose the whole tank alongside the flakes. I am worried the pleco wont get to the flakes in time and he is actually the only one I saw who had worms. little red ones coming from anus. I figure if he has them it is a matter of time before they pass on. Tips?

Levamisole is best for the little red worms.
You treat the whole tank.

I can only seem to find powder with instructions on using it on sheep and cattle. Any specific site or brand that is geared toward fish?

Yep just google fish and levamisole, you'll find people selling it by the gram.

You didn't specify tank size or I could have helped with the dosage.

Cape Town, South Africa.

Hi. I'm back.

So I got the powder, the directions say to use 2 grams on a thirty gallon tank which is what I have BUT the inhabitants are a gbr ember tetra loaches amano shrimp bnp and black phantom tetras, now I would consider most of those "sensitive fish" so would it be smart to use 1.5 instead of 2grams

2gram is a bit much

oops, I converted liters and gallons wrong. Google help to correct that.

it should be 1.32mg/L or 4.99mg/Gallon
so 30G should give you 149.7mg

you can go as high as 10mg/L and there should be no issues.

actually, follow this.

Ok i think it means 1/4 tsb in which case I am going to need a scale unless someone knows how many 1/4 tsb it takes to make 149mg? roughly

The site says, 90mg/10g, so 270mg/30G (.27g/30Gallons). I would go with that. It account for only C11H12N2S, not the HCL which you probably have.
I accounted for everything.

The .25 is probably .25 grams. So one heaping spoon will cover your 30G.

so I did the treatment yesterday and the 75% water change today, I blacked out the tank and followed all the instructions but the pleco still has the red worm poking out of him. How long until I should see signs of improvment and how long until can give another treatment and up the dose if the last one was a failure. Keep in mind I have been feeding with fenbendazole food for the past 4-5 days
