Peristaltic pumps into the Co2 reactor?

Has anyone run these little dosing pumps tee'd into a Fluval 406 output going into a co2 reactor? Will a check valve between the pump and pressure side of the filter be enough?

The pumps aren't meant to be used under pressure.

Too bad, I would have preferred to plumb the lines into my filter lines rather the over the rim.

What do you want to dose with it. I have a Peristaltic pump which has graduating system for dosing chemicals and was toying with the idea of using it to an experiment with glutraldehyde and dose into a inline reactor (presently CO2) from the filter return.

If you have a choice, you have a problem, till you elect your choice. No choice, no problem, only consequences, learn to live with them.

Just the ferts, (EI) I am very inconsistent with my dosing so built a Arduino doser. I'm getting ready to hook it up for some live testing.

Then dose your ferts on the intake side of the filter.
