Moss Wall

I recently purchased some Peacock moss to make a moss wall. I am looking into buying a large sheet from www.grainger.com/ as I saw some people suggest that be a good place to get stainless steel mesh in large pieces. The reason I am buying a large piece as opposed to small pieces from planted tank members is so I can custom make the size of the wall.

My question is does anyone have any insight on picking the right hole size of the mesh? Or perhaps a reasonably priced source for 316 Stainless steel mesh good for moss walls?

Thanks!

I use Peacock moss in all my tanks. Unfortunately it does not bind itself to anything. If it's not tied down it just floats away.

I made a moss wall using plastic mess from the craft store. covered it with netting and used cable ties to sandwich it in. Be careful when trimming, as it will just pull out of the mesh.

By the way, my shrimps love it.

If you mean peacock moss like selaginella, it's actually a terrestrial fern. Or is this an aquatic you have?

Does anyone have any input on what the hole sizing should be for purchasing the Stainless Steel mesh for the moss walls?
