DIY SKIMMER/ s. extractor?

any way? to do this, or do this really cheap,
or is there a way to hook ip up to power filt?

out of the aquarium for a while... college

You can buy skimmers really cheap -- probably cheaper than making them.

Yah .. I would buy one for that price... I don't think you can get much cheaper than that.

Help control the pet population...spay or neuter people won't spay or neuter their dogs or cats!

define 'skimmer'
are you looking for a surface skimmer to grab leaves and stuff? or a protien skimmer?

I'm pretty sure he's talking about a surface "extractor"...ie the Eheim extractor that sucks the film off the surface of the water.

Well.. if he ain't.. then he is wasting his time. Protein skimmers don't work in freshwater tanks, well.

Help control the pet population...spay or neuter people won't spay or neuter their dogs or cats!
