Aeroponics project

I was in the Hydroponics store the other day to buy 2" pots and saw an EZ Cloner. Not much to it. It is basically just a plastic bin with a cover, and sprays the roots with nutrients to get super fast growth. I thought to myself, that thing costs $250???? Time to get to work. My neighbor left an old cooler behind when she moved out and I'm a pack rat so of course I snagged it. It will serve the purpose of the nutrient bin. Most people use the plastic storage bins but I plan on having this outside for the summer so some insulation and better sealing cant hurt. The piping is 3/4" PVC and I'm using a 180 pump, airstone, and EZ clone replacement spray heads. My plan is to grow a bunch of pogo to start.

That looks mighty nice for an old cooler and some net cups.

Good luck with it.

Nice thing about the cooler is it's meant to hold water also. If I want to drain the nutrient solution, just unplug the drain. Should seal way better than a rubbermaid tub also. Well see.

I wonder if you could patent it if it works? It looks tremendous.
