Using Magnum 350 as CO2 diffuser?

Can someone share their experience or opinion on using Magnum 350 as CO2 diffuser? I am thinking of linking CO2 to the intake tube of Mag 350, is this the right approach?

Thanks

I did this with my 350 Mag filter a couple of years back it work fine because the 350 motor is at the bottom not at the top of the filter like most are, You don't have to worry about air locking your filter. I took out the strainer basket and filled the container with BIO Balls so it was 1 big reactor.
