Acrylic question

I built a 20x20x12 acrylic tank last night. Question I have is there are some areas where the seams have bubbles. Can I just use some weld-on 16 on the seams as basically a caulk? That should bond the inner seams correct? Or, am I pretty much screwed and just break the seams before they really bond together, sand them down and start over again?

Weld on 16 dones not work like caulk when you run a bead of 16 it shrinks 40+% and so it looks like shi*. From my experience working with acrylic you would be better off getting strips of acrylic maybe 1/4"/ 1/2" the length of the seam and gluing them tightly into the corner where the bubbles are this will strengthen the tank considerably

What did you use to glue the tank together initially did you use weld-on 16 or did you use we -on3 or we-on4?

you dont have to take my advise but I learned the hard way and tried using weld-on 16 for that same purpose and it shrunk gouged and crazed awful they make we-on 40 for what you want do do and it does not shrink. good luck
