Inline CO2 Recator with Fluval hosing

How do you hook up a DYI inline CO2 reactor with the custom hosing you get with Fluval canister filters? There must be an adapter for the fluval hosing to adapt it to regular hosing.

As long as you don't plan on cutting the fluval tubing the soft rubber connectors on the tubing work very well with a hose clamp. If you need two pieces of tubing, which you will to connect a reactor, get some thick walled 5/8 inch ID tubing and use that for one of the connections and use the fluval tubing for the other.

Ok. So I can get a 5/8" ID host to run from the pump to the reactor, and use my existing fluval hose to run from the reactor to the pump. I just need to clamp it to the reactor. Sounds easy enough. Thanks!

When I had my fx5 hooked up I spliced my hook ups right into the stock tubing and it was fine with hose clamps and the barb ends of my reactor.
