CO2 Diffusion on a NanoCube
I'm trying to figure out the most effective method to get my CO2 into the water on a nanocube. As far as the tank goes, its a 12g cube with a total of 48W of light right now. The filtration system is the one that came with it, including the pump, bioballs and sponges. At the moment, all that I have is a throwaway diffuser attached to the end of my airline tubing. I had this placed under the outflow from the pump but its so close to the top that I doubt I'm making use of the majority of the CO2.
I had the idea of making a small hole into the tubing from the pump to the output and hooking my airline tubing into there, but am unsure of the effectivness of that. I'm hard pressed to add any equiptment into the actual tank, as I have a limited amount of space to work with and the whole idea of this cube is see minimal equiptment. I'm using a DIY CO2 setup, so I've heard the the only thing I was really considering, the glass bell diffuser, is hardly effective unless using pressurized CO2.
I just want to get this stuff into my tank effectively so that my plants will stay nice and healthly and have no idea of the best way to go about that on a setup like this!
