DIY Polycarbonate lid for ADA/rimless tanks

i dont mean it in a bad way, its just it reminds me of them but on a larger.. better..scale

cause they are little acrylic cubes and have a lid with a little hole in the top in the middle

a random thought. i know >.<

yea, the cover part looks liek it, wow, the fish they use make me feel sick, so not capable of that tiny thing O.o

yeah, theres a petition on the net I found (while I was looking for the site to show you) to get them out of wherever it is they are sold. but anyway back on topic.

Is that just acrylic? How thick is it? The heat and humidity from the tank may warp the cover.

yep, just polycarbonate, i know it may warp, but im not too worried, the stuff is quite thick, probably 1/4-3/8 thick, i'll have to measure later.

That looks amazing... how did you measure the tank? I assume you can't measure the whole tank because of the thick glass and you need the cover to be inside the tank? Also did you use those metal brackets that came with your ada tank?
Did the place cut everything for you?

they only cut the rectangle/square, you have to cut the rest. i measured the inside of the perimeter the clips have between em.
