spray painting tek?

Would you say it would be OK to spray-paint tek light fixtures? Really would loke white ones

Eheim pimp #127.
600 ltr (160g) planted tank. Pressurized CO2, Eheim 2260 & Sacem Marathon 2000, 156W T5.

the tek lighting fixtures are powder coated which is nice but im sure u can paint it if wanted. you may have to lightly sand the light. most powder coat paints have a clearcoat on them that is slick and shiny. you need to make the surface more dull for the paint to stick better and last.
