PVC to airline tubing

Which fitting do I need. I assume 1/2" mpt to 3/16" barb? but I can't find the part any where. Please Help.

Thanks.

I've been looking for the same type of thing, and am having trouble too. It's looking like I'll end up using 1/4" hb x 1/2" mpt and then reduce the 1/4" hb down to airline size.

FWIW, I've stopped with the adapters to make things fit, and just use the "Smaller hole" technique. I leave a 4" section sticking out and use a check valve to join to the longer line.

I do the same thing as tazcash but I don't use check valves. I hang mine from the ceiling, and thus can save myself a buck or two per tank--doesn't seem like much but adds up.

I may be missing the point but most Home Theftpot has barbs in the platic bag section of the plumbing dept. You may have to adapt down with a bushing but all hardware stores will have what you need in plastic or brass.

Great find! Thank you!!

The Home Depot in my town certainly does not carry these types of adapters, nor does Lowe's. I've searched both high and low to no avail. Ace Hardware and Do It Best are better options in this region.

Nice write up in the latest issue of the AGA magazine. You found a needed niche.

Do we know you under a different name here? When they quoted you about the clear PVC it sure sounded a lot like a couple of recent threads that were posted here.
