Wanted: DIY fish feeder for 50nm food

I have baby danios and I feed them First Bites food which is 50-100nm in size. I feed them a pile of food smaller than a grain of rice and I try to feed them every 4 hours. However, I am at work during the week. Using a commercial rotary fish feeder, which is all plastic, I suspect the food would simply stick to the plastic rather than fall out into the tank.

So I am looking for a 4 hour timer or something similar, that I could use to dump food into the tank every 4 hours, or even once after 4 hours goes by. If I use a paper tray to hold the food I don't think much food would stick to it.

Any ideas? I could make one out of a manual, rotating kitchen timer but they don't make 4 hour kitchen timers.
