Question DIY Co2 w Citric Acid ?s

Citric acid eats plastic, thus wondering how long has this system lasted for you?

Do you use a needle valve to regulate the bps?

If not how did you regulate the bps?

Did you buy the needle valve or use 1 from a kit?

If used kit's needle valve did you replace the needle valve?

If replaced the needle valve with what rating?

Have any of you added a solenoid?
If yes for how long have you been using it?
Experience with it?

At the concentration we use it at, there is no worry about degradation, if any.

You can fiddle around with the amount of yeast that you add in to (somewhat) control the maximum rate of CO2 production.

One of the disadvantages of using DIY CO2 is that it can be uncontrollable at times. Lately, there have been people fiddling around with needle valves and such for DIY CO2, but I still think it is more trouble than it is worth, and would be easier to just jump completely to pressurized CO2.

I am not using yeast. I am using citric acid.

It would be easier if I could afford to spend $200 to play with. $200 is nothing for some obviously.
