diy co2 diffuser q

honestly im dead broke. therefore i can't really buy any good diffuser or even make one. so i'm stuck with an airstone or pluging the co2 line into the filter intake of my HOB.

i don't really want to go with the airstone because i've heard it's inconsistant, and thats not good especially because i have a GBR in the tank and theyre very sensitive.

ive heard the co2 into the filter intake is good but i havn't read too much on that. what are your opinions on it? and i think i also read that the carbon in the filter pad can "destroy" the co2 but i don't remember if i was reading right.

err thank you in advanced.

I run the CO2 lines into my HOB intake on a NANO. Only problem is the noise from the bubbles is a minor annoyance. Dont worry about the carbon in the filter. It works just not the most efficient.

If you cannot keep daphnia alive...I wouldn't even trust you with my pet rock!
