Gap, Help!

I finally got my 125gal tank and placed it on the stand I built. The front both sides sit flat and can't get a piece of paper in between. The problem it the back side about 3 to 4 inches from the side has a gap less then 1/16th of an inch. Is this something to be worried about? Any easy ways to fix this? What about the epoxy they use for table tops? Aqueon does not recommend foam under their tanks. Should I do it any way? Any help would be appreciated.

Just woried after reading about tanks that broke.

Thanks,

Matt

Since it is on the back side of the tank/stand I would use composite shims available at most big box home improvement stores. They are usually located in the trim/door department.

Good luck

Once you get the stand as level as you can, you can place styrofoam sheet underneath the tank. Be sure to level your stand as perfect as you can before you use this. Here is a pic for you to get an idea.

Thanks for the ideas. I got the epoxy from Home Depot and will be sanding it so it is sitting flat. Aqueon said do not use the foam.

Cool. The foam was not meant for leveling, just for cushion and to smooth out imperfections.
