My DIY 110 gal plywood tank 1 year later

I thought I'd throw up an update for those interested in a project like this.

Well, so far so good, it hasn't exploded yet

My only real issues have been with my C02.
A small freek dump which took out 20 of my Congos and all of my Clowns The Clowns have been replaced but not the Congos.
I had an EBay solenoid go bad and the plastic C02 supply line started to crack. An order to Rex Grigg solved these issues.

I still LOVE my dual FX5s; great for the money and I haven't had a single issue. Currently I'm only running the supplied outer basket foam with a couple of ceramic bio rings. I did notice that the flow would drop off rather quickly with the center foam media, hence the reason I don't use it. My water is clean and crystal clear, so I think I'm doing just fine with the outer foam.

I did end up going with RO water for other issues, but it was an unplanned expense. I went with an EBay 75 gpd, 4 stage RO setup with an Aquatec 8800 booster pump. I like to think I have a pretty good reservoir setup also. It is a 50 gallon barrel in the garage with a heater, Quiet One 800 circulating pump, and 9.5 Magdrive pump for filling

I can't take a pic to save my life but here is a semi current one. I have a couple of different plants in there now, but nothing major.

More pics can be found in my signature. Please feel free to ask questions if you have them

Looks great man! Any chance you would want to sell some clippings from the Hygro on the left?

I JUST did a BIG pruning this Saturday so it's a little lacking. If you are still interested in a month, shoot me a pm.
